Shamanic Awakening is founded by Anthony Palomba, shamanic healer and musician. Anthony’s ancestry comes from Peru and has spent many years exploring the shamanic traditions from the jungle and those of the mountains. His path of healing brought him to work with many modalities, where he eventually found shamanic healing. Once there, he discovered his connection to the Andean mystical tradition and began his studies in those ancient healing arts.

He studied Andean Shamanism at the Austin Shamanic Center, where he is a Full Mesa Carrier and a graduate of the Energy Medicine Certification program. Having completed his core shamanic studies, Anthony now travels to Peru to further deepen his connection to the Andean tradition, and trains with indigenous paq’os of Peru. He has studied with such luminaries of the Andean tradition such as Joan Wilcox, Vilma Pinedo, as well as Ivan and Juan Nunez del Prado.

Having discovered his calling as a shamanic healer, Anthony’s healing practice is where he integrates his personal journey of healing and ancestral connection to the Andean tradition. He uses the energetic techniques of this tradition to help clients remove the energetic imprint of trauma. This trauma can come from childhood, family, ancestral, or even other life experiences. It is an expression of the medicine that is of deep integrity and ayni (energetic reciprocity). Creating a space that is grounded in an awareness of love and compassion for all beings on their journey of healing and evolution. Anthony also combines shamanic healing and music to create sound healing performances that express the energies of the Andean Cosmovision.
